Design Summary

The challenge presented was to illustrate a concert poster inspired by the steam punk genre for a present day music group or band. This was a really fun project to work based on the style and details within the illustration. I tried to create a very industrial feel with a ton of contrast to highlight the shadows and lighting. The final version features a music factory/club/machine with patrons entering the mouth entrance and metallic/silver bronze piping surrounding the structure. The color palette features tones of elements from gold, bronze, silver, and hues of green with accents of rust to enhance the industrial environment. As mentioned this was a fun experiment and really tested some skills while getting me out of my usual style.
